James R. Walker (Jim) is the senior trust and estate partner of Rothgerber Johnson & Lyons LLP and practices in the firm’s Denver office. Mr. Walker plans and has administered some of Colorado’s largest estates. In 2000, he successfully represented the estate in the Lagae v. Lackner Colorado Supreme Court decision.
 
Mr. Walker is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, serving on ACTEC’s Professional Responsibility Committee. He has authored several articles on ethical issues facing trust and estate practitioners. He also served as an observer on the American Bar Association’s Ethics 2000 Commission and regularly lectures on ethical issues involving trust and estate matters and elder law.
