James Gilbert Benjamin
James G. Benjamin, a member of the law firm of Benjamin, Bain & Howard, LLC, is a transactional lawyer whose practice focuses on commercial real estate. He frequently serves as an expert witness in civil litigation pertaining to the practice of transactional real estate law.
Mr. Benjamin has lectured for CLE in Colorado, Inc. on a variety of real estate issues, including transactional ethics. He is a former chair of the CBA Real Estate Section and presently serves as the Real Estate Section’s representative to the CBA Legislative Policy Committee. He has been a member of the CBA Ethics Committee since 1998 and has served as the Real Estate Section Executive Council’s liaison to the Ethics Committee since that time; he is also a member of the CBA Board of Governors.
Mr. Benjamin received his B.A. in political science from the University of Southern California in 1971 and his J.D. from Loyola University in 1976.
