Susan Bernhardt is a member of Sherman & Howard L.L.C. Her practice emphasizes complex commercial litigation, securities fraud, partnership and corporate governance disputes, business fraud and business torts, and attorney ethics litigation. She handles litigation in state and federal courts, including complex matters pending simultaneously in multiple courts, class actions, and shareholder derivative actions, as well as arbitrations. Ms. Bernhardt recently served as the chair of the Colorado Bar Association Ethics Committee. She served as the editor for the ethics column of The Colorado Lawyer for many years and is now on the board of that publication. She also serves as a member of the board of directors of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association. She received her B.A. degree, with high honors, from Swarthmore College and her J.D. degree, with distinction, from Stanford University.
