Program Description
Please join the M&A Subcommittee for a panel discussion on today's M&A markets as seen through the eyes of the General Counsel who are tasked with making M&A deals happen.
The expert faculty will explain how M&A deals are changing in light of the current downturn in the economy. In addition, the members of the faculty will provide their insights into what they believe 2010 will be like for all stakeholders in mergers and acquisitions deals.
They will also discuss the role of outside counsel in M&A deals in their eyes and how outside counsel can add value.
The panel will include Thomas O. McGimpsey, Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. in Fort Collins; Carl F. Berglind, Corporate Counsel (Securities and M&A), of Emergency Medical Services Corporation in Greenwood Village; and John S. Fischer, General Counsel of Local Insight Media Holdings, Inc. in Englewood.
The panel moderators include veteran M&A attorneys Hendrik F. Jordaan, Esq., of Holme Roberts & Owen, LLP; and Darren R. Hensley, of Hensley Kim & Holzer, LLC.
