The 2011 Bench-Bar Retreat is an opportunity for attorneys and judges to meet, share ideas and concerns, and work to improve the administration of justice. After a brief presentation regarding the changes which will take effect in select district courts, including Denver, on Jan. 1, attendees will be split into discussion groups, which will include judges, to discuss these changes and whether trials can be fair and effective with limited discovery. This is an invaluable opportunity to talk to the judges directly about issues affecting the profession.
Four credits, including one ethics
