James Garts and Becky Bye will be conducting a CLE related to the movie, “Miracle on 34th Street.” Similar to the legal themes of the movie, the CLE will focus on ethical issues associated with representing clients with competency issues. Additionally, there will also be some discussion on federal and state pre-emption issues (since this issue played a pivotal role in the movie). Join the DBA Young Lawyers Division for a fun and informative movie night at the DBA CLE offices, 1900 Grant St., third floor., starting at 5:30 p.m. Pizza and refreshments will be provided. One ethics CLE is avialable. Registration is $5 for members, free for students, and $20 for nonmembers. RSVP online, by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or call 303-860-1115, ext. 727.
