"Immigration Enforcement: What Every Employer Needs to Know."
Speakers: Ivan Gardzelewski, Assistant Chief Counsel, ICE, Worksite Enforcement Unit, and Chris Thomas, shareholder, Ogletree Deakins
Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) continues to target employers who fail to complete Forms I-9 properly and who employ undocumented workers. This presentation will focus on who is getting targeted, audited, investigated, fined, and prosecuted. We will outline how to remediate technical and substantive errors to prepare for audits or investigations, and we will propose steps to avoid claims of immigration-related unfair employment practices. We will also outline effective strategies for developing and implementing effective I-9 compliance programs. 
Cost: $15.00 for Immigration members, $20.00 for Non-Members. There is no call-in option for this luncheon.
