Program Description

The common man or woman is our typical client. He (or she) may or may not have a taxable estate but has assets, including a home, savings, investments, and even a business which could be attached by the unanticipated creditor.

Exotic and complex asset protection strategies (which often involve the establishment of off-shore trusts) that work well for clients of very high net worth are usually neither needed nor desired.

In addition, these common men and women have other needs and desires for the disposition of their property upon death that are not driven by tax issues. As the economic recession drags on, clients will need help in minimizing the reach of creditors into the estate. Insurance issues as well as medical care, disclaimers, bankruptcy, and other non-tax issues are important issues for these clients.

Want to learn time-tested, effective asset protection strategies for your clients in this important asset level category? Then you need to attend this program! The program's distinguished faculty includes Mr. James W. Narron, a nationally-known estate planning attorney who writes and speaks frequently on asset protection issues. Mr. Narron will be joined by Mr. Thomas L. Stover, a highly-regarded trust and estate law attorney hailing from Colorado, who will address the asset protection issues that are unique to Colorado based clients.
