IMPORTANT NEWS!
1. The Colorado Supreme Court has approved substantial amendments to the Colorado Rules of Professional Conduct, which will result in the repeal of the current rules and reenactment of the newly-approved rules.
2. The new rules will take effect on January 1, 2008.
3. The Court will post the new rules as soon as they are finalized and ready for publication - but you can sign up to learn about them NOW!
Several major substantive revisions have occurred regarding rules related to:
- Communication and Confidentiality
- Fees and Expenses
- Conflicts of Interest
- Responsibilities of Lawyers and Non-lawyer Assistants
- Law of Related Activities
- Advertising, and Contact with Prospective Clients
- Misconduct and Disciplinary Matters
Our expert presenters have served on the Court's Standing Committee's Rules Subcommittee for several years, and will teach you how these changes may impact your practice.
