Colorado Jury Instructions for Civil Trials contains the uniform jury instructions for use in Colorado civil trials, as written by The Supreme Court Committee on Civil Jury Instructions. Each jury instruction is followed by Committee comments which provide helpful research assistance.

The instructions explain the items that must be proved to prevail and are accompanied by discussions of Colorado case law related to each instruction. The commentary serves as a convenient and efficient source for legal research. The comments contain citations and explanations of how the instruction should be used, any special features of the instruction, and how an instruction relates to other instructions. In addition, the book contains many special verdict questions to assist in the preparation of verdict forms.
