Legislative Update: Recent Changes to Colorado's Landlord-Tenant Laws
Colorado House Bill 08-1356 was signed by the Governor on June 2, 2008, and amends thirteen separate sections of the Colorado Revised Statutes. The changes are broad in scope and have an effective date of September 1, 2008. In particular, the issue of the warranty of habitability has been addressed by the legislature.
