Tuesdays at the Bar is Going Email

Though Tuesdays at the Bar is no longer sending out paper brochures in the mail, one thing will stay the same. You'll still hear your favorite pundits, judges, ethical know-it-alls, and all around good speakers at Tuesdays at the Bar every Tuesday for a low price, a CLE credit, and a good lunch.

While we aren't changing speakers, we are changing the way you hear about it. From now on, you'll get an email telling you about the great programs coming up. Of about 7,200 members, there are 1,600 for whom we need an e-mail address.

Larry says: "Don't get left out tof the Tuesdays at the Bar CLE loop!"

Give us your email by calling (303) 860-1115 or by emailing membership@cobar.org.

Legal Night at the Center and Volunteer Training CLE: June 3

The DBA YLD is seeking volunteers for “Legal Night at the Center,” a volunteer program where attorneys and/or paralegals meet with individuals, providing legal information in family, employment, and landlord/tenant law. “Legal Night at the Center” is held the third Tuesday of each month at El Centro Bienestar in Denver’s Baker Neighborhood from 5:30-8 p.m.

Join us for a free CLE program on June 3 at 1900 Grant St., Suite 300, to train volunteers in the areas of ethics, immigration law and practical advice in providing pro bono services. Attendees must commit to volunteer once during the next year or be an existing volunteer. CLE credits have been applied for. To R.S.V.P., contact Megan Brynhildsen at mbrynhildsen@nationwideenv.com.

Get Some Balance

The DBA’s Community Action Network provides attorneys with ways to get involved in the community. Meetings are every second Wednesday at the Marriott City Center’s Starbucks at 5:45 p.m. All DBA members are welcome. Send questions or volunteer suggestions to kbries@cobar.org. Below is an idea about how you or your firm can get involved:
