What is a "Young Lawyer"?

DBA Young Lawyers Division members are lawyers age 37 or younger, or who have been in practice less than three years.

Want to learn more about the DBA YLD? Come to an Executive Council meeting! YLD meets the second Wednesday of every month, 6 p.m., at the DBA offices, 1900 Grant St., 9th floor. Contact Michael Gates at mgates@mkadlaw.com if you have new ideas or questions about upcoming events.

People's Fair, June 4-5

DBA volunteers answered legal questions at the 2005 People’s Fair, June 4–5. Braving Saturday’s rainy weather, the volunteers sustained, answering more than 100 legal questions over the weekend.

As a result of your efforts, more than 34,400 meals will be provided to the Denver community. Special thanks to Aaron Bradshaw of Pryor Johnson Montoya Carney & Karr, who not only put together this year’s drive, but also donated 40 additional barrels on behalf of his firm.

Collect school supplies at your office to help the students of Denver Public Schools who are in need. See the impact of your donations on Aug. 7. Supplies will be handed out that Sunday at the Museum of Nature & Science, 1–5 p.m. To volunteer on Aug. 7 or to participate in the drive, contact Kari at kbrandt@cobar.org or (303) 824-5340.
