Spread Cheer to Children
Winter Festival (formerly known as "Christmas in January") is Jan. 14, 10:30 a.m.–1 p.m., at the Denver Department of Human Services, 1200 Federal Blvd. This event provides gifts to Denver-area foster children, giving them an opportunity to celebrate the holidays.
How you can help: Join the YLD on Thursday, Jan. 12, to sort toys at the DBA offices at 1900 Grant St., 9th floor. Or, set up for Winter Festival on the evening of Friday, Jan. 13 at 1200 Federal Blvd. (times to be determined). Anyone interested in helping, planning or participating in this year’s event should contact Doug Stevens at (303) 991-4701 or dastevens@gnlaw.net.
Barristers After Hours — Postponed until January
The DBA Young Lawyers Division will not be holding its monthly Barristers After Hours this month, to allow members to spend time with their loved ones over the holidays. Barristers After Hours will resume on Jan. 19 at Rock Bottom Brewery. Best wishes for the holiday season and a very happy New Year!
