Picture This: DBA Happenings ![]() Even the Mayor is Joining the Festivities
The Denver Bar Association helped guide West Middle School across the Denver City and County Building, April 4–13. More than 450 students learned about local government, law, enforcement, jury civic duties and the local judicial system. Special thanks to Mayor Hickenlooper, City Council Member Kathleen MacKenzie, Hon. Brian T. Campbell, Hon. Anne Mansfield, and Hon. John N. McMullen who took the time to talk to the groups of students. A group of dedicated attorney and paralegal volunteers also helped make these tours possible: Darla Benford, Karen Best, Treasa Burke, Bob Carney, Jim Carr, Kwali Farbes, Pat Finley, Janet Frickey, Fred Long, Elsa Martinez Tenreiro, Melody Mirbaba, Marshall Snider, Laura Tighe, Ralph Torres, Louis Underbakke, Todd Walker, Daniel Walter and Adam Weins. Interested in helping? Contact Carolyn Gravit at (303) 824-5340 or cgravit@cobar.org. Volunteers are needed! Nellie Mae Scholarship Scuttle
