Past Presidents’ Dinner

Denver Regional Mock Trial Tournament

George Washington High School, pictured at left, won the Denver Regional Mock Trial Tournament, which was held Feb. 9–10 at the U.S. Bankruptcy Courthouse. George Washington High School continued its winning streak at the state tournament and competed in the final championship round against Evergreen High School. This marked the first year a Denver Public School made it to the championship round. A special thanks to Judge Sid Brooks and Brad Bolten, U.S. Bankruptcy Court clerk, for their hospitality.

Members in the Community

On Monday, Feb. 5, Hon. Marshall Snider served as a judge at Pioneer Charter School in Denver as the third grade class tried the case of Three Bears v. Goldilocks and the fifth-and sixth-graders tried Giant’s Wife v. Jack (from Jack and the Beanstalk). Brad Hill and Michelle Norcross, each coached two teams.
