Law Suit Days

The annual "Law Suit Days" are Oct. 11–12. Members of the Young Lawyers Division will be taking donations on the steps of the City and County Building, 1437 Bannock St., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. Donate gently used professional clothing to help low-income and unemployed community members dress-to-impress for job interviews. Contact Greg Daniels at gdaniels@hmflaw.com with any questions.

The Third Annual All-New Ethics Revue

They’re BACK! The CBA Ethics Committee and the Law Club once again join in unholy alliance to present this year’s hot ethics topics and those all-important rule changes in a fun and musical format! On Oct. 24, you can once again experience the uniquely humorous musical skills of the Law Club, accompanied by the incomparable Hank Troy of the Queen City Jazz Band. Brave commentary on uncharted ethical issues will be provided by the remarkably insightful and thoughtful CBA Ethics Committee panel, moderated by Susan Bernhardt of Netzorg McKeever Koclanes & Bernhardt. Get some education. Have some fun. And — oh, yes — pick up three ethics credits. Just don’t ask who wrote the song lyrics — the Law Club never tells.
