Picture This: DBA Happenings ![]() Collier Smith Receives Award Dana Collier Smith, CBA/DBA assistant executive director, received the National Association of Bar Executives President’s Award at the Passing of the Gavel Luncheon at the ABA Annual Meeting in San Francisco. APABA Boat Race The Asian Pacific American Bar Association Billable Dragons race team, sponsored by Faegre & Benson, successfully competed at the Seventh Annual Colorado Dragon Boat Festival held July 28 and 29. The Billable Dragons won two of four highly contested races. More than 50 corporate and individual teams competed and an estimated 9,000 attendees enjoyed the food, entertainment and shopping at the festival. APABA is proud of its third year participating in the largest Asian cultural event in Colorado and encourages other bar associations and law firms to field their own dragon boat race team next year.
