Picture This: DBA Happenings ![]() George Washington H.S. Advances to Ntls. The 2008 Colorado High School Mock Trial Tournament was held at the Larimer County Justice Center on March 14–15. We want to congratulate George Washington High School for advancing to the national tournament, which is held May 7–11 in Wilmington, Del. This is the first Denver Public School to advance to the national tournament. We congratulate the GW team for its outstanding efforts in this educational program. The Colorado and Denver Bar Associations have been striving to get more DPS schools involved in educational programs promoted and sponsored by the CBA. In the last few years, we have witnessed the students of George Washington develop, progress and flourish in their skills, performances and outstanding abilities. We are extremely proud of George Washington High School. We hope that GW has set the standard for all DPS schools and encourage more schools to participate in this worthwhile program. These students are our leaders of the future. GW, well done!!! Elsa Martinez Tenreiro, DBA President
