O'Donnell

The partners of Wheeler Trigg Kennedy voted to change the 11-year-old firm’s name to Wheeler Trigg O’Donnell. The nationally recognized litigation firm is chaired by Michael L. O’Donnell, one of the firm’s five founders, who becomes a named partner with this change. Two other founders, Malcolm Wheeler and Jack Trigg, remain active partners in the firm.

Chancellor Robert Coombe appointed DU Law Professor Martin J. Katz to the Sturm College of Law interim dean position. Katz joined DU Law as a faculty member in 2000. As the interim dean, he will begin immediately to lead the strategic planning process at the law school.

Isaacson Rosenbaum announced the election of a new chief executive officer, Lonny Donovan. Donovan has been with Isaacson Rosenbaum for more than 28 years and is taking the CEO position so that Jon Steeler, who has served as CEO for the last eight years, may turn his attention to legal services within his areas of expertise.
