Dell

Barbara Melior Jacobi was appointed for the second year to be the co-chair of the Alternate Defense Commission.

Wells, Anderson & Race congratulates Suanne M. Dell on receiving the 2009 St. Thomas More Award from the Catholic Lawyers Guild. The award is given annually to one Colorado attorney demonstrating the intellect, integrity and moral courage of St. Thomas More.

Jack Luellen, a member at Beatty & Wozniak, was re-elected to a two-year term to the Board of Directors of NAMI-Colorado, the state affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, and currently serves as treasurer.

Kim Casey, a partner at Kutak Rock, was elected to a three-year term on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Bond Lawyers. NABL educates members and the public about state and municipal bond law, and provides advice on the federal, state and local levels with respect to legislation,

Sam Cheris was elected chair of the Board of International Hearing Dog, a nonprofit organization providing hearing dogs to deaf and deaf-blind individuals throughout the country.

Beth Wilkins

The Harris Law firm announces that Beth Wilkins, a paralegal with the firm, was awarded the Pro Bono Paralegal of the Year award from the National Federation of Paralegal Association.

Ament, a shareholder, was named to the Kempe Foundation’s Board of Directors. Also, Steven M. Sommers, a shareholder, was named to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado Board of Directors.

Kutak Rock announces the recent hiring of Thomas W. Snyder to the litigation practice group. His practice focuses on complex energy and telecommunications litigation. He also is actively involved in the community, including serving as a board member for Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, General Counsel for Sobriety House, Inc., and manager of pro bono legal services at the Stout Street Clinic.
