40-Hour Mediation Training, Instructed by Judy Mares-Dixon. Judy Mares-Dixon, M.A., has worked in the conflict resolution field since 1986 as a trainer, mediator, coach, facilitator, consultant, and dispute resolution systems designer in the United States, Canada, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand. Receive 40 hours of training from her Jan. 17–19 and Jan. 24–25. She mediates contract disputes, collective bargaining agreements, sexual harassment, ADA, and other EEO complaints. She also mediates grievances, organizational conflicts, conflicts involving cross-cultural issues, and public policy disputes.
Mock Trial Kicks Off Spring
The Denver Regional High School Mock Trial Tournament is Feb. 11 and 12 at the Denver City and County Building. Two teams will advance to the state tournament held at Adams County Justice Center on March 11 and 12. DBA members are invited to score or judge one or more rounds.
