Billing Codes

Are you familiar with the Uniform Task-Based Management System (UTBMS)?  It was built in connection with the ABA Litigation Section and appeared in ABA Law Practice Management Section's Model Chart of Accounts publication.  Although these codes were never "adopted" by the ABA, they are routinely referred to in the legal profession as the ABA Task-Based Billing Codes.  They can be found at this address:
