Present at the meeting were: Chris Little, Chris Buckman, John Palmeri, Renee Garcia, Mike Hutchinson, Mike Ludwig, Joyce Jenkins, Chuck Turner and Robin Beattie.

Legal Malpractice Insurance Guide: The Committee discussed the current Guide and suggested corrections and additions. Renee had some proposed additions which will be incorporated into the revised Guide. Robin will work with Reba to finalize.

CBA Website for LPL Insurers: Robin presented the revised proposed CBA Website page which lists LPL insurers and producers, and provides a brief glossary of terms. Additional comments and suggestions were received. The proposed information will be posted, which is current as of October 1, 2000, and Chris Buckman will provide updated rating information, class size and Website information for A.M. Best’s and Standard & Poor’s. It is anticipated that the website information will be updated periodically.

Whoops!: Joyce reported on the next Whoops! article on Estate Planning - Who is Your Client. The next article may cover real estate issues.

Periodic Review of CBA Endorsed LPL Insurer: There were additional discussions about the Committee’s "wish list" to enhance the product offer by the current CBA endorsed LPL insurer, Westport. In addition, there were discussions about what other insurance products were available from other insurers. Robin will prepare a proposed letter to all Committee members requesting their input for the "wish list."

CBA Convention: Mike Ludwig reported that the seminar to be presented by the Committee will be Saturday morning. The topic will include fees and collections.

Dave Garner of Westport: A reminder that he will provide a brief update on developments in LPL claims. There will be a brief question and answer session after his update.

The next meeting will be held on April 11, 2001 at 7:30 a.m.
