Present at the meeting were John Palmeri, Dan McCune, Rene Garcia, Chris Buckman, Dave Little, Reba Nance, Joyce Jenkins, Mike Hutchinson and Chris Little.

The Whoops articles has been drafted by Cindy Fleischner. John Palmeri agreed to review the draft article. Chris Buckman has provided a "malpractice minute" for the issue. The Whoops issue should come out in February.

The Committee discussed the upcoming Preventing Legal Malpractice seminar. Program chair, Walter Houghtaling, has put together a practical seminar. The seminar this year will be a one-half day program at eight different dates in seven different locations. It should be an excellent program.

Dave Little reported on the Hanging Your Shingle seminar. Dave is looking for a librarian to speak at the seminar. Otherwise, the seminar is on track.

The Committee, again, discussed the Lawyer to Lawyer Directory and the malpractice checklists. John agreed to follow-up on both of these items and provide additional information to the Committee.

The next meeting is scheduled for February 13, 2002.
