What does the Larimer County Pro Bono Program do?
The Larimer County Pro Bono Program attempts to match residents with private attorneys for certain legal matters. The Program provides referrals, as available, to private attorneys (Pro Bono) and to appropriate agencies for residents of Larimer County who meet financial and income guidelines. The Pro Bono Program does not handle bankruptcy, criminal, workers compensation, social security or personal injury cases. Intakes occur weekly in Fort Collins on Wednesdays and in Loveland on Thursdays, with some holiday restrictions.
The Larimer County Pro Bono Program also provides a domestic assistance class to the public. The class is offered on the 2nd and 4th Monday afternoons. The class offers legal information to assist the public in processing their own dissolution of marriage (divorce) or allocation of parental responsibility (custody) actions.
