ABA Book Selling Program:  To further meet the needs of our members, the CBA Department of Law Practice Management and Risk Management works with the American Bar Association to offer ALL ABA books - except CLE materials - for purchase to our members at a 20% discount off the regular ABA non-member price.  We specialize in law practice management titles, including marketing, finance, and technology, and we keep copies of all ABA LPM Section books in our Lending Library (see What's in the Lending Library below).  Those titles that are carried in the Lending Library are categorized in the links listed on the navigation pane to the left.  Descriptions of the books and their prices are included.  Sales tax, shipping, and handling charges are included in the discount price.

In addition, CBA-CLE carries IN STOCK many substantive law titles for purchase at the same 20% discount to CBA members.  To see a list of titles available through CBA-CLE, click here or on the link to the right under Additional Info.

What's in the Lending Library?  We have gathered together a collection of materials, including ABA publications, ALA (Association of Legal Administrators) publications, and other practice management, finance, marketing, and technology oriented publications, as well as some practice-specific topics.  We do not carry any CBA-CLE materials or any substantive law materials from the ABA in our Lending Library.  To view the lists of materials available in the Lending Library, click on the categories listed in the left navigation pane of this web page (under LPM Publications and Lending Library to your left).

How do I check out materials from the Lending Library?  The CBA Lending Library is an exclusive CBA member benefit.  You can view our Lending Library Policy from the link in Additional Info on the right side of this web page.  When you are ready to borrow materials, contact Michelle Gersic at (303) 824-5342 or mgersic@cobar.org to see if the materials are available.  We have limited copies of each title; we are happy to put you on a wait list if something isn't immediately available.  Then, download a Checkout Form and Agreement and bring it with you to the CBA offices to pick up your materials, or we can mail you the materials for a $5 fee.
