Problems Logging on to Casemaker?

TROUBLESHOOTING CASEMAKER

 

Please try any of these options if you are having trouble getting in to Casemaker

 

Delete all History

  • Tools
  • Internet Options
  • General (it will probably default to the General tab)
  • Clear History
  • Apply
  • OK

Delete Internet Temp Files

  • Tools
  • Internet Options
  • General
  • Delete Files
  • OK

 

Add www.cobar.org to Trusted Sites

  • Tools
  • Internet Options
  • Security
  • Trusted Sites
  • Sites
  • Box will say “Add this website to the zone”
  • Underneath the box, type in https://www.cobar.org
  • Add
  • OK

Enable Cookies

  • Tools
  • Internet Options
  • Privacy
  • Move the slider on the left, it cannot say
    • Block all cookies or be on the High setting
    • You may want to try “Medium” setting

Close out all Internet Explorer windows

 In addition to the obvious Internet windows that are open, you also must close

  • I-Tunes
  • Adobe
  • Any Internet radio site
  • Any site that has streaming video or audio (Because all these apps are tied into the Internet.

Choosing another Browser:

We had a case where a member could not log on using Internet Explorer and installed the browser Firefox instead, and was able to log on.  

  

Then, please go back and try to log on again!
