M&A Subsection of Business Law Section
The M&A Subsection was created to focus on the role played by lawyers in negotiating and documenting business acquisitions and related transactions. The M&A Subsection discusses and debates issues of current relevance and interest to practitioners in the M&A arena and sponsors educational programs on M&A-related topics. The M&A Subsection organizes programs approximately every other month that focus on practical M&A-related topics. The M&A Subsection places particular emphasis to include corporate counsel speakers. Also, foreign lawyers are encouraged to drop in to cover practical tips on M&A in their respective jurisdictions and investment bankers and other deal professionals share their perspectives.
The M&A Subsection is chaired by Hendrik Jordaan of Holme Roberts & Owen LLP (hendrik.jordaan@hro.com; 303-861-7000).
