Privately Held Businesses

The Privately Held Businesses Subsection was formed to help lawyers better represent their small business clients. The group is focusing its energies in 4 areas:

• Sharing ideas and information about current legal issues facing small businesses.
• Providing CLE seminars for small business lawyers covering areas of business-related law.
• Presenting a panel CLE discussion at the next bar association convention for small business practitioners.
• Preparing a reference book for attorneys who represent small businesses with sections on business-related law written from the perspective of small business.
