Recent Activities

Law Schools Programs:  In August, Committee members staffed a table at the University of Denver Law School Orientation Days, as well as participating in two panel presentations on professionalism.  DU has provided a bulletin board at the school for Committee postings, including the Principles of Professionalism, notices of upcoming meetings and other professionalism-related materials.  In April, Committee members had a successful classroom presentation at the University of Colorado Law School.  The feedback we have received from faculty and students has been overwhelming positive.  We are in the process of scheduling additional classroom presentations at both schools.

Professionalism CLE:  Committee members are in the process of preparing a Professionalism CLE.  We are working on compiling real-life examples of unprofessional attorney conduct to incorporate into the CLE program.

Next joint meeting: September 20, 2005 (3^rd Tuesday of the month) from noon to 1pm at the Bar offices. As always, our meetings are open to anyone who would like to learn more about or join the Committees. We are always seeking new members and volunteers.
