2008 Annual CLE Seminar for Young Lawyers

More than 110 lawyers attended the November 11 CBA YLD Annual CLE Seminar "Practical Aspects of an Honorable Profession" at the DU Sturm College of Law.  Speakers included Judge David Prince, District Court Judge in the 4th Judicial District; Judge William Lucero, Presiding Disciplinary Judge of the Colorado Supreme Court; Herrick Lidstone, Jr., of Burns Figa & Will; Julie Haines of Kennedy Childs and Fogg; Erick Bono and Karen Trojanowski of the CU Law School; and Hannah Wanebo of DU.

November 2008 YLD Board Meeting 

     WHEN: Tuesday, November 18, 2008, 5:30pm
     WHERE:  CBA Offices (1900 Grant St., 9th Floor, Denver)

Join us at our monthly meeting!  You do not need to call in advance.  All young lawyers are welcome to attend!  Just show up and voice your concerns or ideas for young lawyers in Colorado.  We're a pretty easy-going bunch, and we would love to have you. 

 

What is the Young Lawyers' Division? 

The mission of the Young Lawyers Division ("YLD") of the Colorado Bar Association ("CBA") is to be a liaison to young lawyers of local bar associations throughout Colorado to provide public service information and assistance to communities; and to provide professional development opportunities for young lawyers practicing in Colorado. The YLD fulfills this mission by sponsoring a number of programs, which benefit young lawyers and the surrounding communities.

We hope the information and resources available on this homepage will assist young lawyers in Colorado in the practice of law and encourage the Colorado young lawyer community to participate in community service opporunities.

We welcome any thoughts or comments you have regarding our website. Please forward your thoughts or comments to any of the YLD president or any of the council members.

All are welcome to join us each month at the Young Lawyers Executive Council meetings. The meetings are on the third Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. at the Colorado Bar Association offices, 1900 Grant Street, 9th Floor, Denver. We welcome the attendance of anybody who is interested in simply knowing more about what we do, or is interested in becoming involved in any of our many projects.
