 ABA TECHSHOW 2010 Conference and Expo ~ March 25-27, 2010

The Colorado Bar Association is once again proud to be an Event Promoter for one of the best legal technology events of the year.  The 24th annual ABA TECHSHOW educates lawyers and legal professionals through three days of CLE sessions and a two-day EXPO.  Attendees from all knowledge levels learn legal technology tips that cover basic and advanced technology.

Law Practice Today

Given the economic situation, the ABA webzine Law Practice Today decided to opt for a Suddenly Solo the theme issue for July. Many lawyers who have lost employment are opening up their solo law practices out of necessity after being unable to find new employment. For those who are leaving a large firm environment, this is quite a change in operations.

However, as the issue was finalized it also has become apparent that this is a really good resource for new lawyers starting a practice as well. The contents of all issues of Law Practice Today are free for everyone, including the Digital Edge podcast.

Law Practice Management Hotline

As a service to its members, the CBA Department of Law Practice Management and Risk Management provides information to members on a variety of practice management issues, including legal specific computer software and technology.  Give us a call.  If we cannot answer your question, we will refer you to someone who can.

Live Programs

The CBA sponsors a wide range of live presentations and continuing legal education programs on law practice management topics, including using the Internet in your law office.  Presentations can be created for local bar associations and other groups, upon request.  Topics include:
