Monthly Networking Meetings

Solo Small Firm Section networking meetings are a great opportunity to connect with your peers, as well as a practice management and technology discussion forum. The meetings are open to all CBA members, not just Solo Small Firm Section members, the sponsoring entity. Colorado Springs routinely offers CLE credits, although sometimes there is no formal agenda, and no RSVP is required to attend any of the meetings. We encourage you to think about and prepare questions or ideas to present to the group. Don't hesitate to email a meeting coordinator to suggest a CLE topic and/or speaker!

STRATUM: Ethical Co-Working CLE—Monday, November 17th
Early this year, the Denver Bar Association launched STRATUM, a members-only, co-working space for lawyers at the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations. STRATUM gives members a stronger sense of community and collegiality, while providing them with the business amenities they need to enhance their 21st century practices. Join us on Monday, Nov. 17, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. to ask every question you have about how to use shared space ethically. Our panel of ethics experts will discuss rules you need to know to ensure your clients are protected and will address issues like confidentiality, disposal of documents, cross-referrals and data protection. The complimentary event will be followed by a reception of appetizers, beer and wine. One ethics credit applied for. RSVP to lunches@cobar.org or call 303-860-1115, ext. 727.
