The JULY 27 meeting will offer one hour of CLE credit. “Connecting With Your Client Through Ethical Client Relations” will be presented by Reba J. Nance, Director of Law Practice and Risk Management with the Colorado Bar Association.

PRO BONO
The Colorado Bar Association’s Economic Task Force, together with with CLE in Colorado, is sponsoring a series of trainings/ webcasts appropriate for lawyers assisting low income individuals. I encourage you to take advantage of these trainings/webcasts.

Examples of CLE programs on substantive areas of law to help volunteer attorneys taking pro bono cases. These courses are available at no cost to attorneys willing to take on a pro bono case. All presentations will be given by Jose Vasquez (Colorado Legal Services) and are available in both live and webcasted formats. All classes offer two general CLE credits.

BUDGET
At either the July 27 or August 24 Membership Meeting, the Board will ask the membership to vote to accept the 2009/2010 budget. There will be an opportunity for brief discussion prior to the vote.
UPCOMING MEETINGS
JULY
The July 27 meeting will offer one hour of CLE credit. “Connecting With Your Client Through Ethical Client Relations” will be presented by Reba J. Nance, Director of Law Practice and Risk Management with the Colorado Bar Association.
AUGUST
The August 24 meeting will offer a one-credit CLE and feature Robert Kelso’s presentation on
“Forensic Pursuit”. Simple and complex computer investigation problems are both addressed in the same detailed, professional manner using the latest in cutting-edge tools and the best, most widely accepted analysis techniques. (from www.forensicpursuit.com) This should be a good learning experience coupled with the benefit of a CLE credit.
SEPTEMBER
There will be two September programs. The first will be held on Friday, September 11 at Noon at the Bookcliff Country Club. This special lunch meeting will offer a one-credit CLE and will feature the new President of the Colorado Bar Association, David Johnson from Colorado Springs. Come meet Mr. Johnson.
The second September meeting will be held on the regular “4th Monday” and will offer a one-credit CLE and will feature Nancy Cohen’s presentation on “What to Do when a Client Makes a Misrepresentation”. As most of you know, Ms. Cohen is with The Office of Attorney Regulation. An Interesting Topic – A Valuable CLE Credit – A Fantastic Lunch.
