TUESDAYS AT THE BAR Get lunch, CLE, and a great program!
Make reservations for these programs by sending a check for $15 ($25 for non-members), payable to the Denver Bar Association, to: Tuesdays at the Bar, DBA, 1900 Grant St., Ste. 900, Denver, 80203. A form to use is below. You may also RSVP by calling (303) 860-1115, ext. 727, or e-mailing lunches@cobar.org. Indicate the program you will be attending. All programs are at the DBA, third floor, at noon. Cost includes lunch and typically one CLE credit. (Coffee Talk is a morning program on the 9th floor, and includes a continental breakfast for $5.)

*** Feb. 7: Working With In-House Counsel What all attorneys should know when working with an in-house counsel attorney. Learn about the dual role of an in-house attorney as an employee for a company, as well as a lawyer. One general credit requested.
*** Feb. 14: Microsoft on Steroids Microsoft Office applications can do things you thought could only be done by specialty software. Learn how to make Microsoft Office work for you! One general credit requested.
*** Feb. 21: E-mail Security: The Ethics of Being a Lawyer in the E-mail Age Join CBA Ethics Committee member Dick Reeve for an ethical overview of things you should know as a lawyer using technology in the 21st century. Whether you use e-mail, Blackberry, cell phone or other high-tech devices, this program is for you. The discussion will include issues relating to exchanging documents by e-mail and e-filing. One ethics credit requested.
*** Feb. 28: Lunch with a Judge Judge to be announced. One general credit requested.
*** Wednesday, Feb. 22: DBA YLD Coffee Talk — How to Get Involved in the Community A great program for new attorneys and those attorneys looking for ways to get involved in organizations, boards, committees and other community activities. Join colleagues from 8 to 9 a.m. at 1900 Grant St., Ste. 900. The cost is only $5 for DBA members and $15 for non-members. Continental breakfast included. RSVP by sending a check to DBA Coffee Talk. No CLE offered, but this will be a great program!
