*** The Greens are Calling to You at Green Valley Ranch Golf Course
Don't miss one of the favorite and most fun events of the year: the DBA Annual Henry Hall Memorial Golf Tournament. This year the tournament is at the award-winning Green Valley Ranch Golf Club, Monday, May 22. Friendly competition, great prizes and palm trees are all part of the tournament (plus your chance at winning a brand new car and other prizes in our hole-in-one contest!) Go to www.denbar.org for more info and a registration form. Don’t miss it! Deadline to register is May 18.

*** The 25 Credibility Arguments for Deposition and Trial
Robert Musante received rave reviews last time he presented this program in Colorado — don’t miss him this time!
Explore the most-difficult-to-master credibility arguments that are vital to the execution of great adverse depositions or great trial cross-examinations. The program is May 10 in Colorado Springs; May 11 in Denver; and May 12 in Grand Junction. Register online: The 25 Credibility Arguments for Deposition and Trial.

*** Batter Up!
The DBA Lawyer's Softball League — the most relaxed league west of the Pecos — is back. Games begin June 3 and run through Aug. 5. No experience necessary: The league is coed, there are no umpires, and balls and strikes are not called. The idea is to get out of the office and enjoy the beautiful Colorado summers. Games are Saturdays at 11 a.m. at Cramner (Sundial) Park, in central Denver. Fees are based on the number of teams in the league. If you are interested, contact Jack Tanner by May 15 at jtanner@fwlaw.com or (303) 894-4495.

*** Greet Visitors from Croatia
A group of Croatian decision- and opinion-makers will be at the Bar Association on Friday to learn about ethical codes and practices, as part of the Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program. If you’d like to meet the group, you are welcome to attend. Come to 1900 Grant St., 9th floor at 9 a.m.

*** Lessons from a Corporate Governance Expert
The University of Denver’s next “Voices of Experience” program is Friday, May 12, 10 a.m.–noon, at the Cable Center, 2000 Buchtel Blvd. Charles Elson, professor of corporate governance at the University of Delaware, will speak on “Corporate Governance and Enron — Past, Present and Future.” The program offers 1.2 ethics and two general CLE credits.
