***Jan. 10: Legal Status of Guantanamo Bay Detainees: Rights and Remedies after the Supreme Court's Decision in Rasul v. Bush  
Come hear Barbara Olshansky, Senior Litigation Attorney from the Center for Constitutional Rights in NY City—the Supreme Court attorneys in Rasul—and Mark DeLaquil, from Baker & Hostetler's Washington, D.C. office discuss this decision. It’s noon to 1:30 p.m. at the bar offices, 1900 Grant St., 3rd floor classroom, co-sponsored by the Colorado Bar Association Bill of Rights Committee and the CBA Criminal Law Section. ***Press Club hosts NY attorney/novelist 
New York City prosecutor-turned-novelist Linda Fairstein will be the guest speaker at a Book Beat Luncheon at noon, Jan. 13, at the Denver Press Club, 1330 Glenarm Place, co-sponsored by the DBA. Fairstein, a sex crimes prosecutor with the Manhattan District Attorney's office for over 20 years, will talk about her recent legal thriller "Entombed." CU Law Prof Mimi Wesson will preside. ***DU Recent Grad Reunion/Hockey Game
