This year’s Law Day program, presented by the DBA YLD, is "The American Jury: We the People in Action," May 4, noon, at the Warwick Hotel, 18th & Grant St. Speaker is Chief Judge of the Denver District Court, H. The Community Action Network Committee is looking for volunteers to help with the Children’s Outreach Project’s "Spring Clean Up" this Saturday, May 14, 8 a.m.–3 p.m. Stretch your muscles and grab a paintbrush, cleaning supply or gardening tool to help make COP — an early childhood education & child care center — brighter for the summer months. The Leadership Denver Alumni Association’s annual Spring Forum, "FasTracks and the New Urban Fabric of Metro Denver," is May 19, 5:30–6:45 p.m., at the King Center on Auraria Campus (7th Ave. and Auraria Pkwy.). Joel Kotkin, an urban futurist, will analyze TREX, FasTracks and the demographics of Metro Denver, and will talk with leaders in our communities about how our region will change over the next few decades.
