*** Bump Into Some Judges: Lead a Court Tour
A great way to give back to the profession, impact the community and get down in the trenches is to lead a tour of the City and County Building. The DBA needs volunteer attorneys to guide students and provide information on the courts and judicial process. The tours last about 2–3 hours. The kids love it! Training is provided. *** Job Opening: Senior Prosecutor — Office of the Denver City Attorney
The Denver City Attorney’s Office is seeking to fill a position for a senior level prosecutor with extensive experience in handling domestic violence cases. The position will provide training, supervision, and consultation for all city prosecutors handling DV cases and will be responsible for ensuring that new policies and protocols are implemented. The position will provide and train the staff on effective prosecution strategies and will work closely with outside agencies regarding case review and filing guidelines. Minimum qualifications include graduation from a college of law with attainment of a J.D., admission by the Colorado Supreme Court to practice law in Colorado at the time of application, and three years of experience as an attorney at law, including two years’ experience handling domestic violence criminal cases.
