*** Second Season of Service
The Colorado Supreme Court adopted C.R.C.P. 223 “Pro Bono/Emeritus Attorney," which became effective July 1, 2007. The purpose of Rule 223 is to allow retired or inactive attorneys to provide pro bono legal services to the poor with the support of certain nonprofit entities. The CBA is forming a group to implement and promote this idea of “Second Season of Service,” and is looking for retired or soon-to-be-retired attorneys to become involved. If you or someone you know is interested, please e-mail Kath Schoen at kschoen@cobar.org.

*** Tip of the Week: Wouldn't It Be Great If You Could Be Prescreened at DIA to Avoid the Long Lines at Security? Now You Can (Almost)!
Denver has just been added to the list of airports offering this service. According to its website: "Clear® is the fast pass for airport security. Clear members are prescreened and provided with a high-tech card which allows them to access designated airport security fast lanes nationwide. Clear members pass through airport security faster, with more predictability and less hassle." Check it out at www.flyclear.com. To enroll, you must appear in person with the proper ID at one of two locations in Colorado (the Jeppesen Terminal at DIA or the Denver Hyatt Tech Center). Images of your irises and fingerprints will be captured, and your photograph will be taken. The cost is $99.95 for the first year.
