*** Tip of the Week
Got “Forever” stamps? New postage prices are coming May 12. The USPS will adjust their prices for First-Class Mail, Standard Mail, Periodicals, Package Services, and Special Services. A first-class mail stamp will be 42 cents. Customers can continue to use the Forever Stamps they purchased prior to May 12, even after the price change. Pricing highlights, select prices, and complete price lists are available on the USPS website. Did you know there's a Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act? Enacted in 2006, it was the first major legislative change to the Postal Service since 1971. It provides for an annual adjustment of mailing prices. If you've got a bad case of insomnia and need some late-night reading material to put you to sleep, download a PDF version of this Act.
