*** Foreclosure workshop Nov. 19
What state and federal claims are available to a borrower in foreclosure? Learn how to help Colorado residents at an online-only training on Wednesday, Nov. 19 from noon to 2 p.m. Presented by Colorado Legal Services, “The Basics of Foreclosure Defense” is free to attorneys who agree to take a pro bono foreclosure case. *** Transitions Program — Update on Medicare, Social Security
Back by popular demand, Chris Sargent will update us on Tuesday, Dec. 2, noon, at the bar, 1900 Grant St. on recent changes to Medicare. She’ll discuss what to look for in supplemental medical policies and the latest in Social Security benefits timing. Given these uncertain financial times, the best advice about how to maximize all of one’s resources is doubly important.
