*** Health Insurance Plan for CBA Members
In early 2008, the CBA launched a new group association health plan with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield for CBA members and their firm’s employees, to those who meet eligibility requirements. This program offers a number of unique and exciting features. Click here for more information.

*** Sterling Ambler Award
This award is given annually by the Trust and Estate Section of the CBA, in honor of the late Sterling Ambler who gave his time and expertise to individual lawyers and to the organizaton. The section seeks nominees who have significant years of contribution to the legal profession in multiple areas, such as legal expertise, assisting other attorneys and participation in professional organizations. Leadership in these areas is another criterion. Send nominations by April 1 to Andrea Mueller at amueller@cobar.org.

*** Preventing Legal Malpractice
This CBA-CLE program will focus on planning for disasters, both the internal and external. The faculty will address how to handle a variety of situations, from the loss of an entire office to loss of confidence in a partner. Additionally, popular topics such as legal updates and insurance issues will be addressed. There are three dates to choose from: Jan. 29 and Feb. 20 in Denver, and Jan. 30 in Colorado Springs. Register online: Preventing Legal Malpractice.
