The U.S.-China Legal Exchange

The U.S. Department of Commerce, Office of the General Counsel will host China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) for the U.S.-China Legal Exchange at Denver University, Sturm College of Law on October 19, 2011. Under the Legal Exchange, an annual event, Chinese government officials present on new and important developments to China’s commercial legal regime to representatives of the U.S. business, legal, and academic communities. As representatives of the visiting country, Chinese government officials and legal experts will present on:
(i) China’s review of mergers and acquisitions under its Anti-Monopoly Law; and
(ii) New developments in consumer product safety and tort liability in China.

Sponsorship opportunities will be available on a first come first serve basis and will help support refreshment breaks, lunch, and interpretation for the program.
