Juvenile Law Section Meeting Minutes
July 14, 2006

Present: Sue Thibault, Donna Worley, Toni Gray, Phil James, Marilee McWilliams, Suzanne Fasing, Doris Waters, Carole Carnahan, Kip Barrash, Consuelo Williams, Doris Waters, Carole Carnahan, Consuela Williams, and Laura Eibsen

A brief business meeting was held prior to Suzanne Fasing’s CLE presentation on changes in juvenile law implemented during the 2006 regular legislative session and special session.

Sue Thibault announced the dates of upcoming Juvenile Law Section meetings:

September 8, 2006 – noon at the CBA offices; a CLE on immigration law changes is tentatively scheduled for this meeting

November 9, 2006 – cocktail party (time to be announced) at the University of Colorado School of Law in Boulder – at the new law school building

January 23, 2007 – noon hour meeting at the CBA offices

March 14, 2007 – noon hour meeting at the Jefferson County Courthouse

May 8, 2007 – noon hour meeting at the CBA offices
Sue Thibault also posed the following question to the group, "What do we want on the Juvenile Law Section website?" The possibilities include a resource directory, the JLS newsletter, meeting dates, and committee reports and membership lists.
