*** Engergize Your Job Search! An Intensive Full Day Program on Nov. 14
Finding a job in the current market requires hard work, creativity and tenacity. This program will help you tap into the strengths and tools you need to land your next job. The day starts by helping you realistically evaluate your own inherent strengths and interests, and walks you through every important step on the way to your interview including the interview itself. Sign up in advance for a mock interview and a personalized, face-to-face evaluation. The program is at the CBA CLE offices on 1900 Grant St., 3rd floor from 9 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. Register now for either the LIVE or WEBCAST program. Tuition is $25, including lunch and snacks.

*** Young Lawyer Conference 2009: I'm a Lawyer... Now What? on Nov. 18
In this economy, it's more important than ever to be able to hit the ground running. Law school prepares you to think like a lawyer, but it doesn't always prepare you to actually be a lawyer. This conference will get you on the right track and allow you to provide your clients with the best service you can, whether you're navigating your new role as an associate, tackling your first trial, filing your first brief or simply trying to steer clear of the kind ethical pitfalls that will land you in the Office of Attorney Regulation. This program is hosted by the CBA YLD at the CBA CLE offices at 1900 Grant St., 3rd floor, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:05 p.m. Register now. Tuition is $95 for YLD members, $179 for CBA members, or $279 for non members, and includes six general CLE credits, including 1 ethics credit. Thanks to the generosity of the CBA Economic Task Force, tuition assistance may be available.

The ethical obligations all attorneys have to their clients is the subject of a talk by Woody Clouse. He will define specific ways for lawyers to perform at their peak during initial consultation and while litigating in court. One ethics credit. There is no cost to attend. Oct. 15, 5:30–7 p.m., at the DTC Colorado Athletic Club, 5555 DTC Pkwy., Greenwood Village. This program is sponsored by the CBA Economic Task Force.
