“Things You’ve Wanted to Know About But Haven’t Had the Time For”
For the Annual Member Appreciation Week, June 8–12, the DBA is offering a full week of FREE “Tuesdays At the Bar” programs — lunchtime programs on a variety of general and ethical topics in the practice of law. Be sure to read the schedule of after-hours activities further below.
Programs are from noon–1 p.m. at DBA offices, 1900 Grant St., ninth floor. RSVP by noon the day before the program by e-mailing lunches@cobar.org or call (303) 860-1115, ext. 727. Or fill out the form below to mail in. DBA members are FREE, nonmembers pay $25. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. All programs offer lunch for $5, and pre-registration is required. Reservations must be made before noon on Friday, June 5 to guarantee a lunch. See you there!

*** Getting Paid: Setting up your Office to Take Credit Cards — Tuesday, June 9
This program will go through the steps that you need to take to set up your office to take credit card payments. The program will be presented by Brian Popp, who is a solo practitioner who set up his office for credit card payments.
*** Transitions Program — Taking Steps to Survive Current (and Future) Gyrations of the Stock Market — Wednesday, June 10
Certified financial planner Peter Tedstrom of Brown and Tedstrom Inc. will provide down-to-earth, no-pressure advice on how to cope with current markets by determining whether “Target-Return Allocations” are a wiser choice than “Target-Risk Allocations.” Not sure what all this means? *** Come Up to Speed on Metadata and Get Rid of it Inexpensively — Thursday, June 11
Charles Luce of Moye White will give you an update on Metadata and ways that you can get rid of it. One ethics credit.

Michelle Gersic will give you the in depth how to guide on using the CBA’s Online Legal Research Tool. One general credit.
