SUMMER MOUNTAIN BIKING TRIPS
The YLD will continue scheduling mountain biking day trips this summer. Bike rides will be suited for riders of all skill levels. All those interested in meeting other young lawyers for casual bike rides may contact James Garts by email at James@weeksluchetta.com.
YLD BULLETIN BOARD COMING!
The CBA/YLD is currently working on a YLD Bulletin Board. Once up and running, each CBA/YLD member will receive a weekly email containing bulletin board messages. There will be an opportunity to opt out of the weekly emails if you do not find the information and contact with others helpful. The YLD Bulletin Board is still under construction, but will be coming your way in the near future. Watch for additional announcements.

Traditionally, the annual CBA/YLD Fundraiser has included a sampling of beers from Colorado breweries and a silent auction featuring such items as ski trips, scuba diving lessons, and even round trip airfare. Mark your calendars now and be sure you don’t miss this year’s annual CBA/YLD Fundraiser.

NEED SOME PRO BONO HOURS?
- Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center
The CBA/YLD will be assisting the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center by providing much-needed assistance in screening potential cases and providing basic information to participants. Young lawyers will have an opportunity to earn pro bono hours while serving the community. All volunteers receive training and are scheduled to work an approximate 3-hour shift. If you are interested, please contact Tiffany Warner at email@example.com.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE PUBLISHED?
The Colorado Lawyer is looking to publish articles written by young lawyers or for young lawyers. If you are interested in being published, please contact Chris Bryan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We’re always happy to hear from members who want to volunteer for the many CBA/YLD programs and activities.
