Endorsed by the Colorado Bar Association, Marsh Affinity Group Services has been serving the CBA and Colorado lawyers in the placement of professional liability insurance since 1978.  It is our goal to provide the best possible service and coverage to the CBA and its members.

Marsh Affinity provides CLE programs, which are sponsored by the Colorado Bar Association, in addition, CLE Sponsored Symposiums.  These programs include risk management and ethics information that offer you general CLE credit as well a premium credit.

CNA has one of the broadest policies available, offering the following features:

·         Claims-made coverage with a 60-day mini tail for reporting claims, at no additional cost

·         Defense cost payable in addition to the limit of liability for qualifying firms

·         Aggregate and loss only deductible options available for qualifying firms

·         Broad definition of Legal Services including Arbitrator, Mediator, Title Agent, Notary Public and Fiduciary Capabilities such as administrator, conservator, executor, trustee together with investment advice given in connection with fiduciary activities

·         Optional “career coverage” for newly hired attorneys, for qualified firms

·         Premium credit for attendance at a CBA sponsored Risk Management Seminar

·         Reduced deductible for claims resolved by mediation

·         Up to $500 per day for loss of earnings for your attendance at a trial, hearing or arbitration proceeding, if your attendance is requested by the Company, up to a maximum of $10,000 (These amounts do not reduce limits of liability)

·         Up to $10,000 or $100,000 in the event of a determination of no liability, for attorney fees and other reasonable costs, expenses or fees resulting from a Disciplinary Proceeding

·         Retirement tail for retiring or non-practicing lawyers who have been continuously insured by the company for at least three consecutive years, at no additional charge (years with Westport qualify for the continuous period)

·         Death or Disability Extended Reporting Period at no extra charge
